The house orchestra, conducted by Eötvös, plays like a dream -
precise, alert, dedicated - and the vocal trio - Ilse Eerens, Salomé
Kammer and Peter Bording - is simply superb. These are the high
standards we have come to expect in Lyons.

Grote emoties vervat in kleine solo’s, zoals dat te horen was bij sopraan Ilse Eerens en tenor Joshua Ellicott. Buiten categorie was onder meer Ilse Eerens’ vertolking van Domine Deus, uit Vivaldi’s Gloria. Moderne, lenige zangers die in elke stembuiging en noot emoties leggen en een verhaal willen vertellen zonder het meteen op goedkope, dramatische effecten te gooien.
